As we go along on this journey we have met some very interesting people. As I mentioned before I have not started the full story and how He has constantly sustained us, rewarded our faith even when it was wavering and always kept us safe. It is amazing how people see us and all the other homeless people we know and even have briefly met. There are many that suffer from mental illness, drug addition or drinking problems. These also are Gods children and we must see them this way. Remember, “We are to love our neighbor as ourselves.” Saying this, We must treat them with as much dignity as possible.
There are many that are homeless that are very normal people. Highly educated, Well trained or years of experience that are having a very difficult time. My wife and I have both talked with them about their walk with and encouraged them with our own walk with Christ. We know that we have been helpful to them and helped them draw closer in their walk with Him. This brings us so much closer to Him and gives us so much joy it can’t be described.
We hope soon that He will allow us to share our whole journey with you. It’s not about us. It’s about Him. Only He knows why we can’t start it now. Time is one thing.
Remember all the homeless in your prayers. Our leaders need to be prayed for and turn to Him for guidance or it will only get worse for all.
God bless all who read this.
PS. I will talk about the people we met through our journey later.
